The plenary meeting of the Political Commission at Genoa adopted the Pact of Non Aggression.

There was a debate in the House of Lords about the high level of traffic on the roads.

Although the Dail Eireann talks had broken down, Michael Collins and Eamon de Valera met privately in a bid to reach agreement that could lead to peace.
