The Dail Eireann Peace Committee reported that they had failed for a second time to reach an agreement for peace in Ireland, with no plans for the meeting to reconvene.

There was discussion in the House of Commons with regards to compensation to residents and business owners who had damaged property following riots and vandalism in Northern Ireland.

Austen Chamberlain, the Leader of the House of Commons, unveiled the Inland Revenue’s war memorial at Somerset House in London.
