The War Reparations Commission sent a formal letter to the German Government asking for assurances regarding a number of clauses in the Rapallo Treaty.
Two important conferences took place in Dublin in a bid to reach agreement between the two sides of the armed forces, in a bid to avoid a civil war. An initial truce was agreed in the hope of reaching unification within the army.
