The death was announced of Hugh Thom Barrie who was the MP for North Londonderry, which he represented between 1906 and 1918, as well as from 1919 until his passing.

Riots continued in Belfast, with a number of houses being destroyed by arson attacks and numerous individuals injured in assaults.

The Allied representatives at the Genoa Conference condemned the agreement made the previous day between Germany and the Soviet Government.
