Arthur Griffith, President of Dáil Éireann, defied an IRA proclamation to speak at a meeting in Sligo where he was guarded by armoured cars and Free State troops.

At the Genoa Conference, the Allied representatives met the Soviet delegates to discuss the matters of war debt.

Disorder was confirmed in Syria, where attempts were being made to start a revolution.
