Joseph Wirth, the Chancellor of Germany, said that he was going to the Genoa conference in the spirit of entente of all nations, with the common aim of the reestablishment of international economic relations.
The entire Austrian Cabinet resigned and said that the country needed financial assistance from the Allies.
The remains of the late Pope Benedict XV were interred in the vaults of St. Peter’s in Rome.
