Neil Kinnock Warns that Labour May Not Return to Power

Neil Kinnock, the leader of the Labour Party from 1983 until 1992, has warned that the party may not return to power under the current leadership.

Speaking to a BBC Panorama programme about the current Labour leadership crisis, Kinnock said:

“Unless things change radically, and rapidly, it’s very doubtful I’ll see another Labour government in my lifetime”.

He added that the situation was “the greatest crisis faced by the Labour Party since the 1930s”.
