Nigel Farage Distances Himself From Boris Johnson’s Attack on Barack Obama

Nigel Farage, the Leader of UKIP, has distanced himself from comments made last week in an article by Boris Johnson, the London Mayor.

Farage, who like Johnson is supporting the campaign for the UK to leave the EU, said:

“If you’re seen to be attacking the man and not the ball, that’s not where we need to be”.

Speaking this weekend Johnson said:

“The crucial point is that I’m a big fan of Barack Obama – I was one of the first people to come out in favour of him ages ago”.
