The RMT union have confirmed that a proposal from Transport for London, TFL, has been accepted by their members. The agreement now makes it more likely that the delayed night tube will be brought into operation.
The RMT said:
“This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee and I have now informed the Company that their offer has been accepted by RMT members”.
The RMT had balloted its members with 2,897 supporting the pay offer and 532 opposing. Other unions have still to agree to the pay offer before the night service can be confirmed.
