Liberal Democrats Win Brecon and Radnorshire By-Election

Jane Dodds has won the Brecon and Radnorshire by-election for the Liberal Democrats, beating the Conservative candidate who had been found guilty of fraud and unseated in a recall petition.

The result was:

Liberal Democrat – Jane Dodds – 13,826 votes (43.46% +14.36%)
Conservative –  Christopher Davies – 12,401 votes (38.98% -9.62%)
Brexit Party – Des Parkinson – 3,331 votes (10.47% N/A)
Labour – Tom Davies – 1,680 votes (5.28% -12.42%)
Monster Raving Loony – Lady Lily the Pink – 334 votes (1.05% N/A)
UKIP – Liz Phillips 242 votes (0.76% -0.64%)

Turnout 31,814 (59.72%)
